Chemical water treatment for whirlpool tubs.

Tap water suitable for drinking is not necessarily suitable for filling a whirlpool tub. Normal tap water usually contains minerals and micropollutants that are not visible to the naked eye. Proper testing and treatment of the water in your whirlpool tub are a basic requirement for the hygiene in the tub and for the health of the people that use it. Proper chemical treatment helps to control/prevent the following contamination:

Bacteria, algae and fungi, which can transmit illnesses and infections to people.

Stains and limescale residues on the tub, technical equipment and pipes.

Blocked filters.

CAUTION: Always observe the following important information.

Always observe the chemical producers' instructions.

Use a fully functional and accurate test set to carry out chemical tests.

Chemicals must not be mixed with each other.

Put the chemicals directly into the whirlpool tub, distributing them evenly over the surface of the water or use a suitable feeding or dosing device.

Let the filter pump run at top speed for at least 15 minutes after using chemicals.

Check the level of chemicals on a regular basis.

Bear in mind that the designation of whirlpool tub chemicals can vary depending on the producer.
